I love bringing the seasons into my classroom! That said, it doesn’t always really work for me to do a whole seasonal unit. If that’s you, too, maybe you’d like to review some French verb tenses you’re already doing so you can keep up with your program. These free French verb worksheets are a no-prep way to add a little seasonal vocabulary to the concepts you are already doing.
Resource includes a printable vocabulary list of common fall-themed verbs, a page for present tense verbs, and another page with a multi-tense activity for the présent, passé composé, futur simple, and imparfait. Present tense verbs include -er, -ir, and -re verbs + avoir, être, faire, and aller.

Your students might also love listening to French songs about fall. I think music is such a wonderful way to expose students to more language! It helps you add variety, kids love it, and it’s an amazing way to retain language structures. (Ever get a song stuck in your head?)
If you’ve got time and want to do more fall-themed activities, this French fall unit is a fun way to practice speaking and writing using common structures you are already using in class.
Happy teaching! Don’t you just love fall?
