I started teaching French almost 20 years ago, and during that first year, I could have really used some free French resources to help me out! Instead, every Sunday was spent prepping, creating, and cutting things out.
During those years, I moved schools twice. Each time, I had to start all over, because I was teaching a new subject or grade level. Sound familiar? It happens far too often, and that’s why I love creating resources for other teachers!
Whether you’re just getting started teaching French or you would love some new ideas for teaching your French students, you’re sure to love getting some new French teaching ideas and resources for FREE, right? 🙂

Boom Cards™ are a really fun way to practice verbs or vocabulary with the use of a device! These fun digital task cards can be played on a variety of devices with an internet connection!
Exit tickets are an amazing way to quickly do a formative assessment of the day’s lesson. You can easily match these to any topic you’ve taught so that you know just what your students need!
Verb conjugation is not the most exciting thing for some students, but it can be made accessible and interesting with the right activities. This -er verbs cut apart activity helps students really get the concept of adding a new ending once they remove the -er.
Teach beginners and need an engaging and non-threatening way to get them speaking? Speaking cards like these are my favorite way! (They also come in intermediate and advanced topics!) These food speaking cards are a great place to start, because all students LOVE to talk about food! 😉
