Planning a full year of French 2 doesn’t have to mean creating hundreds of worksheets, activities, assessments, and presentations from scratch!

This French 2 curriculum bundle includes eight complete units designed for advancing beginner French students. With ready-to-use grammar and vocabulary lessons, engaging practice activities, assessments, and year-long planning documents, you’ll have a wide variety of resources to support your students throughout the course.

Designed for secondary French teachers, this collection is especially suited to American French 2 classes and Canadian Core French programs with students who have previous French learning experience.

For reference, most Canadian Core teachers use my French 1 curriculum for grades 4-6 and this level 2 curriculum for grades 7-8.

• Relative pronouns qui, que, and dont
• Le futur simple as an optional extension

English and full-French versions of selected grammar packets are included to provide additional support when needed.

The eight units explore practical vocabulary and themes that students can use in everyday communication, including:

Is This French 2 Curriculum Right for Your Students?

This bundle is designed for advancing beginners, including students working around the high A1 level and progressing toward A2 proficiency.

It is a good fit for American French 2 courses. Canadian Core French teachers should review the grammar topics, vocabulary units, and sequence of instruction to determine whether the materials align with their program and students’ prior learning.

The earlier units include English and French notes and directions, while the resources increasingly use French as students progress.
