Here’s what teachers say about these French board games:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “My French 2 students enjoyed playing this game to practice Passé Composé. We also used it in French 3 and 4 with other past tenses I just specified which we were using- plus-que-parfait, past conditional etc.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Both me and my students have enjoyed these games. I have a very shy group of kids right now and it’s been hard to get them to engage orally. These games are a nice opportunity for them to practice the passé composé in a small group so they don’t feel so intimidated.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “This was a fun, different way to practice conjugating in the passé composé and my students really enjoyed it!”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Used this with my immersion students when we were learning past tense. It made for a great center! My students loved it!”

I used these game boards for kids to review the passé composé tense before their final exam. There were lots of laughs and kids helping each other conjugate the verbs. Make sure your students are confident with passé composé before playing these games, otherwise it will be too challenging and they will get frustrated. I liked these games because the format was simple and quick for kids to learn how to play. The 3 levels of difficulty offered built-in differentiation because I let students choose which level they would play with their group.
