Description
These ready-to use French school supplies task cards are a fun way to review vocabulary with your beginning French students!
You can use these as review, at a learning centre, or for a game of Scoot! To play Scoot, you’ll print off the student answer sheets and tape the cards around the room so students can get up and move around as they answer. It’s so fun! Instructions for setting up the game are included.
There are a mix of skills included in this set, but with French and English cards, you can easily choose which cards meet your current curriculum needs. Questions are basic for French 1, covering French classroom items and school supplies. Many cards contain easy-to-identify graphics to help visual learners.
There are 40 task cards, with versions in French and English, that vary in difficulty from multiple choice and short answer to forming plurals, using correct articles (un and une) and answering questions. Includes 4 editable cards (for text only) so you can make your own!
Use these French school supplies task cards to practice:
- school supplies vocabulary
- indefinite articles
- forming plurals
What kinds of questions are there?
- multiple choice
- short answer
- fill in the blank
- answering with complete sentences
- translation (the last 8 cards that can be left out for immersion classes)

Originally reviewed on TPTAnother great “scoot” game
Thank you for this resource! I like to do scoot activities with the students, especially when we are doing grammar, and I like that I do not have to prep all of the questions myself. The students enjoy answering and practicing with the grammar more this way than just doing a worksheet or even an online trivia activity.
