French childhood vocabulary game

Description

Looking for a fun way to review French childhood vocabulary during your imparfait unit? This French vocabulary game is always a favorite of my classes! Just print and cut out the cards and you’re ready for a fun fast-paced listening activity that your students will love!

Engage your French students as they practice French childhood vocabulary in a race to find the correct word first. They’ll be up out of their seats having fun and searching for the words as they compete against their group to find the most cards first. It’s a student and teacher favorite!

Want to make a helpful study tool?

You can use this for a fun game and also print French flashcards for your students to study at home. It’s a perfect way to review vocabulary during your imparfait unit!

Here’s how it works:

Print out the cards and have students place them face up on the table.

Students race to find the correct word or image first.

The winner is the student with the most cards at the end of the game.

You get cards with words and cards with images so you can decide:

• if you want to give the English translation and have them search for the French word
• if you want to give the French word and have them search for the corresponding image.
