If you are looking for something Christmas-themed that you can use in a pinch, this color by code activity is super-easy to use! You can even use it to review things you might already be working on (like masculine/feminine, beginner vocabulary, or verb conjugation) so you don’t have to teach separate Christmas terms!

Want to incorporate some winter terms into your class? This find someone who activity is a fun way to get students speaking and using some winter-themed vocabulary. Includes a vocabulary sheet for students + the speaking activity. There are a European French and Canadian French versions, so you can teach the words you prefer. 😊

Lastly, if you want a hands-on activity, these French winter puzzles are a great French winter activity for centers. Use them for fast finishers, when one class is ahead of the rest, or on a day when you just need something a bit different.
